CCEM Missions And Visions
College Of Christian Education and Missions is saddled with the following responsibilities:
To evangelize the world, teaching everybody to reach out to all categories of people as commanded by the Lord Jesus in Mark 16:15, which says “And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” We believe the word of God is either to be used by Holy Spirit to convict people of their sins and make way for them to get to heaven or to be used against them on the Day of Judgment.
To edify of the Body of Christ and encourages all Christians to use their gifts as indicated in 2 Corinthians chapter 12. We believe that there is nobody and no ministry that has all the gifts or the means to meet all the needs in the world. So the College finds the gifts in the students and exposes them to the tremendous opportunities that are available to them through our numerous potential partners that are involved in Ministration and evangelistic works all over the world.
The College equips students with the Word of God, Practical Christian Education and globally recognized certificates. There is nothing as deceptive as to consider gifts of people as evidence of salvation. The College believes salvation comes first. Only those who are spiritually alive can bear fruits, not the dead ones. Any spiritually dead person that seems to be productive is simply a borrowed vessel. Jesus said in Matthew 7:21-23, “Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
The College strongly believes in educating all categories of believers, including children of the need to be purposeful in their daily living, prayerful in fellowships, tactful in evangelism, powerful in unity and resourceful in Christian Education. This is because the most destructive weapon of enemy of mankind is ignorance. The Bible says in Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” This is the reason the motto of the College is: Knowledge Is Principal. It is not so bad if people are ignorant of everything about their lives, including the state of their health but it is eternal catastrophic for anyone to be ignorant of Eternity.
