President’s Speech
President’s Opening Speech During The Graduation Of The First Set Of students Of College Of Christian Education And Missions
First of all, I would like to thank God for His goodness and greatness in our lives, families and ministries before I say a big welcome to everybody, starting from the chairman of the occasion, the inauguration speaker and the distinguished ladies and gentlemen. All protocols observed.
Fellow people of God, there is much more need for the training of soldiers of Jesus Christ in the modern days than other days in the history of mankind. We may need to observe the impossible level of ignorance all over the world, especially about things of eternal values before we appreciate the truth in the book of Hosea chapter 4 verse 6, which makes us to understand that ignorance is destructive.
The challenges that go along with globalization and modernization make it very vital for Christian soldiers to be well equipped. To put it mildly, almost everything in life, including the Gospel is modernized and to put it bluntly, life is perverted. Actually, modernization or perversion of things God created includes cloning of human beings and homosexual or lesbianism.
The world can be compared with Biblical Armageddon war with people either on the side of Jesus Christ or against. It is also similar to the tug of war between Christ’s Spirit and the spirits of anti-Christ. Vast majority are against the Gospel Truth because of the influence of spirits of anti-Christ. This makes the work of the ministries harder than what it used to be in the older generations. We are in the end-time where the enemy of mankind is fighting the last battle, knowing fully well that he has a short time, going by the book of Revelation chapter 12: verse 12.
The Body Of Christ is caught is this crossfire with millions of Christians falling and attacking one another. My research works on the operations of the spirits of the end-time indicates that most Christian soldiers, including the conquerors are spiritually asleep, if not dead. Thus the spirits of anti-Christ are able to condition the minds of the people to condone what God condemns, accept darkness as light, approve disgraceful things as graceful. Because of all the events all over the world, including the violence, disaster and all sorts of evils, which are orchestrated by the spirits of anti-Christ, there is need to equip all Believers with the whole armor of God that are stated in Ephesians 6:10-20 and educate all categories of people that, according to verse 12, we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places.
