FIRST QUARTER

Week 1: Memory Verse: (Romans 6:23) “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. ”

TOPIC: WHAT TREASURES ARE
(I) They are physical things which God gives us. These include money, farm products and other wealth (Deuteronomy 28:12)
(II) They are talents which may be natural or spiritual gifts, any ability to do something good or what we are trained for and even academic qualifications (Mathew 25:14-28)
(III) Our time is treasure (Eccl. 3:1-11)

WEEK 2 MEMORY VERSE:- Matthew 6:20 21 “But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”
TOPIC: HOW TO INVEST YOUR TREASURES
(I) You must pay your tithes and offering out of your treasures (Malachi 3:8-12)
(II) You can invest them in other things and eat out of it (Proverb 18:20, Ecclesiastes 3:13, Psalm34:10 and 37:25)
(III) You must share some of them with needy people (Matthew 25:34-46)

WEEK 3 MEMORY VERSE: Isaiah 61:1 “The spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good tidings to the afflicted; he has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of prison to them who are bound.”
TOPIC: A CHRISTIAN WITHOUT HOLY SPIRIT
(I) Would live a life like sinners (Eph.4:17-33)

(I) The virgins are all Christians (Rom. 8:1-10)
(II) The five foolish virgins are those who do not obey the word of God. (Deut. 28:15-21)
(III) The five foolish virgins are also Christians that go back to their sins (2 Peter 2:21-22, Hebrew 6:6)

WEEK 10 MEMORY VERSE: Matthew 25:31 “When the son of man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne.”
